The advantages of surfacing method compared with other surface treatment methods are as follows:
1) The combination of overlay and base metal is metallurgical combination, with high bonding strength and good impact resistance
2) The composition and performance of the overlay metal are adjusted easily. The conventional formula of arc welding electrode or flux core electrode is very convenient. Various alloy systems can be designed to adapt to different working conditions
3) The thickness of overlay is large, and the thickness of the overlay layer can be adjusted within 2-30mm, which is more suitable for severe wear condition
